diversity is more than just an opportunity for multinational teams<\/h2>\n

the coronavirus pandemic has given digitalisation a further nudge and catapulted many companies into a new era. for companies with multinational teams, this exchange via email, zoom and social media channels can lead to increased misunderstanding. it is extremely difficult to rebuild communication channels once they have broken down. the sooner a company actively embraces a culture of diversity, the greater the benefits of positive change and the greater the impact on long-term company success.<\/p>\n

many companies are often unaware that intercultural misunderstandings can have a long-term, negative impact on the company\u2019s image. people are often unwittingly trapped in patterns of thought and are unable to see how important it is to integrate cultural differences into communication and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n

if, for example, highly qualified managers feel misunderstood within the company culture and do not recommend the company to others, this can soon damage its reputation. after all, recommendation rates can be quickly retrieved online at the click of a button or via social media. it is costly and sometimes even impossible to then restore an image of diversity.<\/p>\n

this not only has internal consequences but also negatively impacts external parties such as customers, suppliers, business partners and employees overseas.<\/p>\n

it is therefore worth actively promoting a culture of diversity before it’s too late.<\/span><\/p>\n

diversity \u2013 an opportunity for international teams<\/h2>\n

for top management in global firms and companies with international teams, it is now more important than ever to firmly anchor the topic of diversity into the corporate culture. after all, as various studies* show, it is precisely those companies that integrate intercultural diversity topics into their strategic alignment that are successful in the long term.<\/p>\n
