diversity coach for international companies<\/h2>\n
born in iran and raised in germany, sahar gasgari-luu has spent the last 13 years living in her chosen home of switzerland, in the heart of zurich.<\/p>\n
in 2001, she successfully completed her degree in international business administration with a major in marketing in germany. at the same time, she completed a dual study course with a year-long overseas placement in england.<\/p>\n
it was much earlier, however, when sahar gasgari-luu realised her ability to precisely put cultural diversity into dialogue and derive positive solutions from it. on the one hand, she developed her skills during her youth spent amongst different cultures and, on the other, throughout her professional career with national and international companies.<\/p>\n

different cultures as a forerunner<\/h2>\n
early on, sahar gasgari-luu realised that cultural differences can have a huge impact. an exotic foreigner with iranian roots and dark locks who fled to west berlin by bus, her dna is characterised by a constant change of perspectives. even during her school years, her insight into other cultures and ability to question personal mindsets and actions as part of a specific culture made sahar gasgari-luu a cultural mediator beyond various boundaries and obstacles.<\/p>\n
since she understood prejudices, stereotypes, setbacks, frustration, obstacles and challenges from her own experience, she also realised how people could work successfully and effectively together in the long term. she was automatically designated the contact for new students.<\/p>\n
however, the skills that sahar gasgari-luu uses today as a certified coach and intercultural trainer for leading global companies weren’t just honed by her unique cultural experiences in her youth: her long professional career in commerce has played an equally important role.<\/p>\n

after completing her studies with a major in marketing in germany and spending a year abroad in england where she obtained her bachelors (honours) in international business administration from newcastle university, sahar gasgari-luu also undertook various roles over a 15-year period. she worked for global players and family-run smes as a product manager, deputy marketing manager and marketing expert. she is familiar with all company sizes and their respective business needs.<\/p>\n
for sahar gasgari-luu, intercultural communication also means leading various professionals in different departments as a project manager and engaging as a business partner at production sites in switzerland, germany, china, taiwan and eastern europe, negotiating prices, participating in business lunches around the world.<\/p>\n
